Budget Gaming Mice

A good gaming mouse is important in our gaming lifestyle. I’ve been using a basic Logitech M7220 mouse for a few months now, and I’ve been on the search for a new mouse. I want to tell you guys about some of the mice that I felt are a good choice to get. If you don’t want to go over the $50 range, what you would want to do is wait for a time where a mouse that’s slightly over $50 goes on sale.

Here’s a list of the mice that I would recommend, and some background information about them:

- Razer Basilisk (my current mouse): This mouse I would highly recommend, because of its nice grip and how it feels when you use it. At the current moment, it’s going for $40 on amazon when it usually costs $70. It has a DPI range of 100–16,000 and full Chroma RGB lighting. Each button can be reconfigured into another with the razer synapse software. It has mechanical switches, and many of the things you might want on a mouse. Razer Basilisk on Amazon

- Razer DeathAdder Elite [$36 on Amazon right now; normally $70]: This mouse is kind of like the Basilisk, it has 16,000 DPI sensors, 7 programmable buttons, Chroma RGB lighting, and that ergonomic feel. I would highly recommend this mouse if you want a mouse that isn’t too uncomfortable if you happen to use it with your left hand (it’s not built for left hands though). DeathAdder on Amazon

- HyperX Pulsefire Surge [$46, NORMALLY $56]: This is another good mouse that I would recommend, it has 7 programmable buttons, up to 16,000 DPI, and great lighting. If you’re more into the RGB world though, I would recommend this mouse, because it has two light strips running down its side, and a light-up logo. Pulsefire Surge on Amazon

- Logitech G305 (wireless): This mouse is going for $48 on amazon, but usually $55. I would highly recommend this mouse if you’re into the wireless game. This mouse uses an ambidextrous design but only has a programmable button on the left side. It has a nice grip, but not as comfortable as the other mice because of the design. It’s wireless, but it does have a USB receiver giving it a 1 ms delay. This mouse has a top of 12,000 DPI, and with a single AA battery, you can have around 250 hours of wireless play. {Keep in mind all of these mice require software to control the RGB lighting or reconfigure the buttons}

The mouse that I used before the Basilisk isn’t a gaming mouse, but I would recommend it. It’s the Logitech M720 Triathlon mouse. It has 5 macro buttons and a comfortable grip which is perfect for anyone that has a productivity and gaming setup. It has cross-computer control and dual connectivity. M720 Triathlon on Amazon

Overall, the mouse that I most highly recommend is the Razer Basilisk (or if you want something cheaper the DeathAdder Elite), but if you would rather have an ambidextrous design with wireless, I would recommend the Logitech G305.
